Brave New World: How Social Platforms Are Dissolving Corporate Barriers

Space is available so Walk-Ins are welcome!

For years the Web has been changing the way customers buy. And with the rise of social platforms, now it’s changing the way businesses interact—not only with customers, but among employees and with suppliers, partners, recruiting prospects, peers, and other citizens of their ecosystem.

In this exciting presentation, online pioneer Babur Ozden and digital media strategist George Benckenstein will highlight the unprecedented possibilities that social platforms offer organizations who are willing to make the leap.

Key Takeaways

  • How customers are shifting from “followers” and employees from "knowledge workers" to active participants in real conversations.
  • How customer service is becoming the responsibility of every single employee—and why that’s a good thing.
  • How this paradigm shift will touch every department of every organization over the next 3–5 years.

So, what does all this have to do with interactive marketing? Everything.

He’s a senior advisor to DFJ-Mercury and a member of the James Baker Institute of Public Policy and the Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship.
